A narrated gritty street photographer palette.
Through random walks through Turkey’s metropole I intended to capture the city in a time when its inhabitants are dealing with a Syrian refugee crises, suicide bombings by the Islamic State, conservative religious street gangs and the lingering of a civil war in the East.
The images in this book are shot with an iphone4 in the districts of Beyoğlu, Fatih and Kadıköy during the winter month of January and February 2016.
