ZAKKUM

My first full-length comics book. Zakkum (“oleander” in Turkish) is a graphic murder mystery about family, loyalty, love, cultural etiquette and taboos.

Zakkum was first exhibited as a solo show in 2009 at the frauenmuseum wiesbaden.

The book was published by Treehouse Press in 2011, with a second edition in 2019.
